Drakkar AS is a technology platform that intermediates transport services between passengers and independent transport providers. Drakkar is not a transport provider and is not responsible for the transport service itself.
1. Contractual Relationship
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of applications, websites, content, products, and services ("Services") provided by Drakkar AS, org. no. 935 975 530 ("Drakkar", "we", "us").

Additional terms may apply to specific features (such as campaigns, partner services, or white-label solutions). Such terms supplement and prevail over these Terms in case of conflict.
Drakkar may update the Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon publication in the app or on the website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance.
2. The Services
Drakkar is a technology platform that enables users to request passenger transport from independent, licensed transport providers (taxi license holders, companies, or self-employed drivers) that have an agreement with Drakkar ("Carrier / Driver").
Drakkar does not provide transport services and is not a transportation company. All transport services are provided by the Carrier. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Services are intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

- use the Drakkar applications on your device to access the Services, and
- access content made available through the Services for personal use only.
Restrictions
You may not:
- remove or alter proprietary notices
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit the Services except as expressly permitted
- reverse engineer or decompile the Services unless required by law
- mirror, frame, or index the Services
- scrape, perform automated extraction, or unreasonably burden the systems
- attempt unauthorized access or interfere with the Services
Branded / Partner Delivery
Services may be offered under different brands or request options, including white-label solutions for partners. Certain features may be provided by third parties (e.g. maps, routing, payments, BankID).
Third-Party Services and Content
The Services may include third-party services or links (e.g. Vipps, card acquirers, BankID, mapping and routing services, toll data). Such services are governed by the third parties' own terms. Drakkar is not responsible for third-party services.
Ownership
The Services and all related intellectual property rights are owned by Drakkar or its licensors. No rights are transferred to you beyond the limited license described above.
3. Use of the Services
User Account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. An account requires accurate and up-to-date information, including name, mobile number, email address, and a valid payment method. Where required, identity verification via BankID may be necessary.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding passwords, codes, and credentials.
Conduct and Requirements
You may not authorize third parties to use your account. The Services must be used lawfully and respectfully. Illegal, dangerous, or disruptive behavior is prohibited. Drivers or Carriers may request valid identification when required.
Messages and Notifications
By creating an account, you consent to receive SMS and push notifications related to bookings, safety, and service operations. You may opt out via the app or by contacting team@drakkkar.no, though this may affect service functionality.
Promotional Codes
Promotional discounts may be subject to separate terms, may be time- or user-limited, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn in cases of misuse.
User Content
You may submit ratings and feedback. You retain ownership, but grant Drakkar a global, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, and publish such content for operation and development of the Services. Illegal, offensive, or infringing content is prohibited.
Networks and Devices
You are responsible for data connectivity and compatible devices. The Services may be affected by network issues or delays. Drakkar does not guarantee uninterrupted operation on all devices.
Recommendation Systems (Transparency)
The app may prioritize or recommend transport options based on factors such as:
- previous usage and selections
- available Carriers and location
- contextual factors (time of day, traffic, estimated arrival)
4. Booking, Pricing, and Payment
Booking and Acceptance
A booking is accepted when a Carrier confirms the request in the app. The transport contract is entered into directly between you and the Carrier.
Pricing
The app may display estimated prices based on route, traffic, weather, tolls, ferries, and other relevant factors. Final prices may vary due to waiting time, detours, additional stops, surcharges, or actual costs incurred. Dynamic pricing may apply prior to confirmation.
Payment (Collection Authorization)
Drakkar may act as a limited payment collection agent on behalf of the Carrier. Payment to Drakkar constitutes payment to the Carrier. Receipts are provided in the app or by email. If the primary payment method fails, an alternative method may be used.
Cancellations and No-Show
You may cancel before pickup. Cancellation or waiting fees may apply and will be shown in the app. No-show fees may be charged. If a Carrier cancels, Drakkar may attempt re-matching but is not liable for consequential costs.
Tips
Tips are voluntary and are passed on to the Driver where technically and contractually possible.
Damage and Cleaning
You may be charged for documented damage, extraordinary cleaning, or lost income caused by your actions.
5. Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification
Disclaimer
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Drakkar makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted or error-free operation or the quality of third-party services.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Drakkar is not liable for indirect losses. Drakkar's total liability is limited to NOK 10,000 per incident. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Drakkar against claims arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Venue is Oslo District Court. You may also use applicable out-of-court dispute resolution bodies, including the Norwegian Consumer Authority and the Consumer Dispute Resolution Committee.
7. Miscellaneous
Reporting
Illegal content or safety incidents may be reported via the app or to team@drakkkar.no.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. Drakkar may assign the agreement to an affiliate, purchaser, or successor.
Severability
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Drakkar regarding the Services.
Privacy (Separate Document)
Personal data is processed in accordance with Drakkar's Privacy Policy, available in the app and online, and in compliance with GDPR and ISO/IEC 27701.
8. Automated Pricing and Fare Calculation
Fares displayed in the Drakkar app are determined algorithmically. The final price depends on several automated factors, including route distance calculated via the HERE routing API, real-time traffic conditions, and applicable tolls and surcharges.
Dynamic pricing (surge pricing) may apply during periods of high demand. Drakkar uses an Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) demand forecasting model to calculate surge multipliers. In compliance with Norwegian regulations, surge pricing is capped at a maximum multiplier of 1.8x the base fare.
Estimated fares are displayed before you confirm a booking. The final fare may differ from the estimate due to changes in route, traffic, waiting time, or additional stops requested during the trip.
Estimated time of arrival (ETA) is calculated using real-time traffic data and may change during the trip. ETAs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee.
Under GDPR Article 22, you have the right to request a human review of any automated pricing decision that significantly affects you. See our Data Rights page for details on how to exercise this right.
9. Data Collection During Trips
During an active trip, Drakkar collects and processes the following data to provide the Services:
- GPS location data — used for navigation, ETA calculation, and fare computation
- Trip recording — route, duration, pickup and drop-off locations are logged for billing, safety, and dispute resolution purposes
- Payment data — processed securely via Stripe using a manual-capture payment flow; card details are never stored on Drakkar servers
Location tracking is active only during trips and is necessary for the performance of the transport contract. You may review and export your trip data at any time by contacting personvern@drakkkar.no.
10. Safety and Emergency Features
Drakkar provides the following safety features for passengers:
- Emergency contact — you can reach Norwegian emergency services (113) directly from the app during a trip
- Trip sharing — you can share your live trip status, route, and ETA with trusted contacts
- Driver identity verification — all Drakkar drivers are verified through BankID, Norway’s national electronic identity system, ensuring confirmed identity and valid credentials
You are encouraged to verify the driver's identity and vehicle details displayed in the app before entering the vehicle.
11. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a booking at any time before the driver arrives at the pickup location. Cancellation fees may apply depending on timing and are displayed in the app.
When cancelling, you may be asked to select a cancellation reason. This information is used to improve service quality and is not shared with the driver.
Refunds for completed trips may be requested through the app or by contacting team@drakkkar.no. Approved refunds are processed via our secure refund system and returned to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your payment provider.
If a trip is cancelled by the driver or system, any payment hold placed on your account will be released automatically. Release timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
12. Rating System
After each completed trip, you may rate your driver on a scale from 1 to 5 stars. Ratings are anonymous and contribute to the driver's overall quality score.
Driver ratings are used to maintain service quality and may influence driver priority in the dispatch system. Abusive or fraudulent ratings may be removed.
By submitting a rating, you grant Drakkar the right to use the rating data for service improvement, quality assurance, and operational purposes.
13. Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your Drakkar account at any time. Account deletion can be initiated through the app or via the account deletion page on our website.
Upon requesting deletion, a 30-day grace period begins during which you may cancel the deletion request. After this period, your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted.
Certain data may be retained beyond the deletion date where required by law, including financial records under Norwegian accounting regulations (bokføringsloven) and data necessary for legal claims.
For more information, visit our Data Rights page or the account deletion page.
In the event of any conflict between the Norwegian and English versions of these terms, the Norwegian version shall prevail.
