Drakkkar is a Norwegian-developed digital mobility platform designed for fair, transparent, and regulation-compliant transport services.

We connect passengers with independent transport providers through technology focused on: transparency, predictable pricing, data protection, and sustainable working conditions.

Drakkkar is built for Norwegian conditions, in compliance with local laws, collective agreements, and European data protection standards.

We do not operate transport services ourselves. All transport is provided by independent drivers and fleet operators who use the Drakkkar platform.

2. Our Platform Model — Full Transparency

Drakkkar operates as a technology and payment platform, not as an employer or transport operator.

This means:

• Drivers and fleet operators remain independent businesses,
• Passengers enter transport agreements directly with the driver / transport provider,
• Drakkkar provides booking technology, pricing calculation, payment processing, compliance tooling, and transparent reporting.

There are no hidden rules, no undisclosed pricing logic, and no opaque algorithms that affect earnings or prices without disclosure.

3. Transparent and Predictable Pricing

Drakkkar is committed to stable, understandable, and permanent pricing structures.

What this means in practice:

• Prices are calculated using clearly defined formulas
• All fare components are visible before booking
• Surge pricing is capped at 2.0x maximum, non-stacking, and clearly disclosed to passengers
• Airport, booking, waiting, and cancellation fees are fixed, documented, and applied consistently

Our pricing system is designed to be lower and more predictable for passengers, while ensuring sustainable earnings for drivers.

4. Fair Earnings & Sustainable Working Hours for Drivers

Drakkkar's model is designed so drivers can maintain normal, predictable working hours, comparable to other regulated professions.

Key principles:

• No pressure to stay online excessively
• No hidden penalties for rejecting trips
• Clear commission tiers (8-10%)
• Platform-paid bonuses for specific trip types (e.g. airport trips)
• Weekly payouts with full breakdowns

This approach supports better work-life balance, compliance with Norwegian labor expectations, and long-term driver satisfaction.

5. Payment System — Fully Documented & Auditable

All payments on Drakkkar are handled through a fully documented, auditable payment system.

Supported payment methods:

• Card payments (via Stripe)
• Vipps
• In-app Wallet (prepaid balance)
• Corporate billing

Key principles:

• Funds are authorized first, captured only after trip completion
• Final fare is determined before charging
• Commission is deducted transparently
• Driver earnings are credited per trip
• All transactions are logged and traceable end-to-end
• There are no hidden deductions, delayed adjustments, or retroactive changes

6. Corporate & Fleet Transparency

For businesses and fleet partners, Drakkkar provides:

7. GDPR & Data Protection by Design
